BioShock: The Collection Receives a Rating for Nintendo Switch

A new Taiwanese listing is pointing at a Nintendo Switch port for BioShock: The Collection. Noticed first by Lootpots, the Taiwanese rating board’s website has posted four ratings for Switch remasters of Irrational Games’ critically acclaimed series. BioShock: The Collection — which contains BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock Infinite and each respective game’s DLC — originally released on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One back in 2016. If the leaks are to be believed, this will be the first time the BioShock series has made it over to a Nintendo platform.

Twitter user Nibel was able to grab a screenshot of all four listings, which are highlighted below.

Judging by the the image, perhaps players will have the option to purchase each game individually if they don’t want to pick up the entire collection.

The renewed acknowledgment of the BioShock series isn’t starting with these Switch ports. 2K Games announced last month that another entry in the series is on the way courtesy of new studio Cloud Chamber. Industry veteran Kelley Gilmore will lead the studio, which has two locations – one in California and one in Québec. This next BioShock is still a long way from being finished, however, as 2K says Cloud Chamber will be developing the project over the next “several years.”

Until 2K officially announces the existence of BioShock: The Collection for Switch, it’s probably best to temper your expectations.
