Mass Effect Trilogy Remastered Console Listings Posted, Then Removed

Mass Effect Trilogy Remastered listings were briefly spotted online for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch release. Now-removed pages (via Nibel on Twitter) at Portuguese retailer GamingReplay detailed current-gen console versions of BioWare and EA’s critically acclaimed sci-fi trilogy earlier today. EA has made no official announcements about such a remastered trilogy so far.

Rumors that a Mass Effect Trilogy would be making its way to current-gen consoles kicked up in May of this year when a report surfaced teasing an HD remake bundle’s existence. If the trilogy collection is real, it remains unclear what the extent of upgrades to the original Mass Effect, 2, and 3 would be.

Though a Mass Effect Trilogy collection first released on the previous generation of consoles in 2012, the series first got its start with the original Mass Effect in 2007. The sci-fi RPG series’s most recent entry came in the form of Mass Effect: Andromeda in 2017, but after launching to lackluster reviews, many have started to worry when they’ll see the franchise return.

Until BioWare or EA gives an official confirmation, it’s best to take today’s allegedly leaked listings with a grain of salt.
