As we approach the end of the week, there’s still plenty of news to cover in the video game world. For starters, Respawn Entertainment has announced that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will come to next-gen consoles, Microsoft confirmed that Halo Infinite will feature PC cross-play and cross-progression, Among Us is headed to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 (PS4 and PS5), and more. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Is Coming to Next-Gen This Summer

Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts have announced that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be coming to next-gen systems this summer. While it’s unclear what this enhanced version will include specifically, Respawn will be implementing a “number of technical improvements.” It also stated that more details will be revealed soon. The next-gen version will come to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S and will be free for everyone who owns the previous-generation version.

Respawn Reveals the Latest Apex Legend Character

Speaking of Respawn, the team has detailed the latest Apex Legends character named Valkyrie. As shown in the trailer below, Valkyrie’s biggest draw is her jetpack, which can be utilized to fly around the map. Though, she does need to touch back down every now and then to let the jetpack recharge. Valkyrie is set to launch in Apex Legends for free on May 4, 2021.

Predator: Hunting Grounds Celebrates Its First Birthday by Coming to Steam

On the one-year anniversary of Predator: Hunting Grounds, Sony has announced that it will be getting a new Airstrip map today. In addition, developer IllFonic has ported Hunting Grounds to Steam and it’s available now. The Steam edition will feature the DLC Predator Package, which comes with extra costumes and abilities. Halo Infinite Will Support Multiplayer PC Cross-Play and Cross-Progression

Microsoft is doubling down on PC support, and as mentioned in an Xbox Wire post today, it has big plans for the future. The company announced that Halo Infinite will support full multiplayer cross-play and cross-progression across PC and Xbox consoles. The PC version will also include unique features such as support for ultra-wide and super ultra-wide screens and more.

Among Us Will Launch on PS4 and PS5 in 2021

As announced during Sony’s State of Play event today, Among Us is headed to PS4 and PS5 later this year. This version will come with a special Ratchet & Clank skin, hat, and pet — exclusively for PlayStation. Of course, this edition will also feature cross-play with other platforms, as well.
