@Link: Pwahaha it was so brilliant I didn't really care I was screwed over. It's movie-material I tell you ;).

@WP: As opposed to near zero activity? I thought the doubles round was exciting precisely because it was hectic. But that's just me. I love action movies and turning off my brain.

@GameApathy: Perhaps the GM could be given more power to drive this RP. Provide scenario based situations every other round or something like that. I would, of course, be a lot more work for the GM prior to getting the game going.

Saying that, I remember the last time I played Werewolf, there were these in-game scenarios we bought. On of these was that the villagers held a seance together to speak to one of the dead. They would get to ask a question (which were also predetermined) about details that werewolf bore, but the dead could only answer yes or no.

So... it's a negatory on the SK Classic, then? Even just for novelty? :/

I still stand by my point that adding more roles doesn't fix the problem. It still makes the people with no roles feel even more inadequate and contribute even less. Plus adding more roles just feels like it's needlessly changing Serial Killer way too much. Just doesn't feel right to me...

... Y'know, this is actually a pretty good idea. I'm surprised we haven't thought of this before. I mean, this is essentially an RP game, so why haven't we been doing a lot of RPing? Hell, that might even motivate us to write up our deaths, with the scenarios already given to us.

@War: I like the "classic" idea. Maybe then allegiances would be formed and more activity would occur. Or, on the other hand, it could be a jumbled mess of people who don't care enough to coordinate votes. I suppose it depends on who is playing. I know that I am a bit paranoid about contacting people (also, inattentive).

As for changing SK too much, I'm a bit of a newer player and less of a purist. I came in around the time when new roles were being introduced, and I really liked how things were always shifting. Personally, I prefer to think of SK as an evolving game.

@Roles in general: I don't think adding extra roles would necessarily be a bad thing. Even if the roles aren't all incredibly essential to the game, I do think that they add the potential for writing material. That's what was so awesome about the Entwined. Sure, they didn't affect the game considerably, but I really dug what Link and Malyc put together when I was GM. We could use more stuff like that.

@GM Driven Events: Cool. An wide-reaching story about the cycle really deserves to be explored.

@Zero_ctrl: I truly hope it's the former. :P

Again, I just want to try it out. For novelty at least, just like an occasional double's round.

@WarP: I'm willing to get a little crazy in a classic round. =P

@Death: Well in amidst all the discussion we had a very nice first-time death. Thank you MP.

MORTIFIEDPENGUIN HAS BEEN MURDERED!

Yes the Penguins are now extinct in this SK Round. Who's responsible for such a heinous crime against my prospective butlers? Vote now to see if you get it right this time!

@NeoAC: I'm pretty sure I died in the last round, fairly early as well.

@MP: Really? Seems so longer ago I couldn't remember. Well then I downgrade it to a pretty good second death.

War Penguin:

You kind of passed by that part of my post I guess. <.<

Also, remaining voters: DO YOU HAVE A PLAN TO KILL THE MURDERER?

Redlin5:

Well golly me. I missed that. Huh. My bad. Still, I would prefer full on no roles. Except just Spy and Medic for normal rounds. Yeah, I guess I am a purest, aren't I. :P

*floats around aimlessly*

Hmm...to buy Watchmen Absolution for under half-price or to not >.>.

@Red: As Gordon Freeman once aptly said "If this is what being dead is like, then being dead sucks!"

This round has to end soon enough. I mean, there's only like, 11 of us still alive. Including me. So uh...yeah. This is getting intense.

@Nouw: Hm. Never had any interest in Watchmen myself. But then, the same applies to most comics.

@WarP: You sure? I only ever recall Dr. Freeman saying, "...". Or are you thinking of something else?

@CA: Well if you ever see it floating around in the library, I recommend that you read it ^^. While it does set the standard for other comic books pretty high, it is a good introduction to the medium. Even if you don't plan on reading other comic-books, it is a worthwhile read. It's just an amazing book. But don't take my word for it, find out for yourself :).

CounterAttack:

Skip to around 8:26. He didn't say it, but he sure as hell was thinking it! :D

@Red/WarP: Stop floating aimlessly and go see how bad the damage is to the JIB! I'd go, but I'm busy with other things. (Plus Brooklyn might still be up there).

MEANWHILE...

The JIB is on fire.

"I just don't know what went wrong."

*sigh* This is what I get for neglecting my duties... being in the land of the living for so long doesn't help. *cracks ghostly knuckles, then cracks ghostly whip*

Alright. As Chief, CEO and Mob Boss of the JIB, I'm back in business. Let's get this place straightened out, people! Brooklyn, put the knives down and take a team to see to that fire. Kathryn, why are half the tables upside down? Alexis, reorganise the floor pieces. I don't wanna be able to fall through the clouds and land back on Earth!

So yeah, this should take an aeon or two, our time. Your time... about ten minutes.

Can I have the JIB story explained to me? <.<

I'll be in the corner, over here. Being dead.

@Redlin: There's not much to tell. As I said above, I'm in charge of its day to day operations. *shrug*

@CounterAttack: So who runs it when I don't know, you're not dead?

CounterAttack:
@Nouw: Hm. Never had any interest in Watchmen myself. But then, the same applies to most comics.

You seem to say that about all things non-Magic related :P

@Zero: I do have other interests...

@Neo: You're assuming I'm in Heaven. Stop assuming that. :P

@Redlin: JIB stands for Jesus' Infinite Buffet, where the dead go to watch the still living have at it and they eat whatever they want, and do whatever they want. I used to be a frequent visitor up there since I died pretty much every round, but after that thing with Brooklyn, yeah I stopped going.

@MP: Between him and me, one of us is usually dead early enough to take care of it.

@CA: So is Brooklyn still crazy? Can I go up for some Cajun wings?

@WP: Well I know Hell is full, so is has to be the JIB or nothing.

@Neo: I dunno... she's preoccupied. You could sneak in, grab some and get out before she notices you.

@Neo: What? Why aren't you acknowledging purgatory? :P

@WP: Because in my religious belief, Earth is purgatory. So by being killed you escaped it. Well done you!

@CA: Good, I'm just going to try and sneak in through the kitchen then.
.

.
.
FUCKFUCKFUCKFUCK! SHE WAS WAITING IN THERE! DAMN IT CA! HASN'T SHE BEEN KICKED OUT AS AN ANGEL YET???

@Neo: ... Yay? Man this is a weird birthday. <_<

@Neo: Oh dear. I guess this is a bad time to tell you I gave her my knife collection to make way for my guns then...

...boy, is my face red.

@WP: Happy belated birthday man. I celebrated for you last night.

@Schiz: The hell! Why would you do such a thing? Surely there was a school of orphans who could have used those knives better than she's using them! *ducks meat cleaver* For an angel you got shit aim, Brooklyn!
