So Wolfenstein is Gears of War in the 1940's. Well that's a shame.

I'm sick of greyish brown in videogames. Why can't we have 1950's-Technicolor-looking shooters?
COLORS! The main selling point of consoles and computers back in the day, trashed by post apocalyptic loving minions.

Definitely his most creative and funny review in quite a while. In fact, this may be my new favorite review of his.

shitting hillarious xD
when the gaming carreir goes to hell become a poet yatzee!
youre allready better than J. K Roling xD

Just... Nice.
Yahtzee,
If I were a woman with the world of embrace,
I'd let you fondle my giant boobs with your face.
And if that's not enough
I'd demand it's not tough
to have 13 of your offspring while running in place.

Not really a man crush, it just came to me and wanted to share.

Nice.

Oh my, there I was,
worrying Yahtzee was about to lose his edge.
Suddenly, he jumps over a hedge,
presents a review,
and I go: phew.
He has unleashed the power of his brain,
all my worries were in vain.

Not exactly a limeric, this.

I have to second or third or fourth everyone else. I, too, thought that you'd give up after a limerick or two, but you didn't, and it was totally awesome. Limericks are inherently somewhat funny, and insulting a game in limerick form is pretty amusing.

Oh well. Won't stop people like my aunt from buying it (not for me, for herself!). Yeah.. she's a big Wolfenstein-fan.

I thought he'd be doing Arkham Asylum. I guess it's not out there yet

Please go back to actually reviewing the games. These silly things are getting old. While the rhymes and such were actually pretty creative and funny, I want a regular ZP.

loved the limerick gimmick, best review since Silent Hill 2 imo (which actually was pretty recent, but oh well)

That limerick review was incredibly good, although it is Yahtzee, it always should. XD

also: WOOOOOOOOO! Batman next week, that game was good!

Nice review.

On a side note, how do I buy the theme tune (legally, preferably iTunes)?

That was pure WIN

VORSICHT! Scheisse. LOLOLOLOLOLOLL

I keep reading everything in limerick meter now, expecting it to rhyme BUT IT DOESN'T.

Ah well. I loved this review. <3

I thought you didnt give out scores... jk. YHATZEE ROOLZ!!!! Irish, limeric, whats next?

I don't understand why everyone is bitching about the score given, he probably just did it because it was funny, unexpected, and rhymed

no dumb ass it got posponed in Ausi.

You're running out of gimmicks aren't you?

Buzz Killington:
Those posters saying Yahtzee's lost his touch
Are not the audience that Yahtzee seeks.
(I say this not to praise him overmuch,
Nor anger all my fellow gaming geeks.)
Reviewing games while holding forth in rhyme
Appeals to those of us sad English nerds
Who read things like Twelfth Night in our spare time
And never need assistance spelling words.
As one of those, I love the lim'rick style
(Though sonnets are my thing, and harder, too);
Detractors should just sit and wait a while
In expectation of next week's review.
TL;DR? Then I'll abbreviate:
I thought this week's installment stonking great.

For the love of Christ, just stow it!
We all know Yahtzee's a poet,
That much is true- crap, I'm doing it too!
Well, at least I didn't blow it.

You're a legend mr.yahtzee.
One of the best you have ever done my friend :P
Though you had to sing to star rate it:P

Meh, I loved the game. I guess you have to be a Wolfenstein fan to like it.

Nice review though. The rhyming was awesome. :D

the review was a new way of looking at it though it got old.
and why did you give it points. u hate point giving reiews

I thought that a clever review,
I enjoyed every bit of it too.
Though I really must say
I never did play
A Wolfenstein game, oh well, boo.

SirBryghtside:

That takes some serious skill...one of the best in awhile.

I have never commented here before, and it is very likely that I never will again. But I just had to say something about this.

Yahtzee, I tip my hat to you. This week's review was a work of art. So we now know that you have at least one marketable skill beyond the realm of knob gags. ;)

he should do all reviews in ryme form

You are a genius, Yahtzee.

Thank you, this is absolutely hilarious!

Yahtzee was a poet, and I didn't even know it.

. . .

Okay, sorry, that was lame.

I liked the new review style though.

You are a clever man, yahtzee, and still you seem to fall in the same trap everytime you do something different.

Don't say "Hey, this game is so bad, it does'nt deserve beeing reviewed, therefor I will speak in limerick!", or like you did last time, "I'm going to speak in an irish voice now! Look at me while I speak with a weird accent everybody! Hey, why arn't you looking?"

Don't anounce what you are going to do. Just be a man and fucking go with it.

... or don't do it at all. You already have enough gimmicks.

The limerick was awesome! After a while I didn't even notice it anymore, just to suddenly realise it's still going :)

That was a great limerick.

Oh, and I could feel hell freeze over. Yahtzee gave out a score.

You've given me an idea.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat: the FPS experience.

B1130:
Yahtzee you are truely a poet.

And he didn't even know it.

Oh dear god that's tacky XD

Good review, not always rhyming but frankly I could just be lieing. :P
