I actually quite liked it.
As a long term player, myself and a select few often head into min-maxing and end up having to grab a handful of dice and roll them several times, so the banter seemed perfectly normal.

We've also had the 'luck' of training a few new players up, (some of which even decided to stay and play afterwards :P) so its nice watching the trials and tribulations of it happening to another group.
As for the camera, I can see why it was wiggling about (stepping over stuff, dodging between people, etc) and didn't mind that either. Guess I'm not as fussy as other purists.

On a side-note: "Other guest star"? Guess Sasha got bored of sucking, which is a shame.

Nah, if you look at the blog, it's basically that they get a new guest star for each adventure; as the guest stars are friends of theirs who don't live in LA.

I thought it was pretty boring all together but I'm a pretty big fan of The Sword so that was pretty cool but the rest was just kinda dnd to me, the chicks don't really help make it that interesting.

Thats just kewl. I don't play D&D outside of a computer anymore, but its always good to see famous people (whatever they're famous for) playing D&D. For the record, I'm either a human paladin (typical, no nonsense, do-gooder) or a true neutral tiefling thief with a bow of some description... Not too sneaky in a dungeon, but watch your coin purse and don't get in my sights...

A couple of them seemed quite bemused as to what they were actually doing there. I wasn't quite sure what to make of it. Guess I'll see how the next episode fairs...

I got kinda bored with it. And by kinda bored, I mean I just forced myself to sit through the full episode just to make sure it wasn't gonna get better after the introductions of everyone and so on. I actually expected to see more D&D. I don't play myself, and, for a lack of better words, an outside looking in view of the game, was the only reason I watched to begin with.

I didn't really expect a ton of the game to be featured, but the porn star gimmick didn't help at all either.

I'm sure this sounded great during the pitch meeting... So it's got that going for it.

So, what i am to understand, is that the people who still play D&D today or the goths, there is a big group of them who are (almost)all girls, and i'm not there to be part of this? ._. That's is rather dissapointing........

Seriously, that was the most boring six-some minutes of Sasha Grey footage I've ever seen.. though I've yet to see Girlfriend Experience...

It's cool to see some chick on the escapist, welcome guys, cool vids, nice refreshing realism. Pretty funny stuff, especially for unscripted. Keeping on eye on this.

Do wanna point out that the fun of D&D is playing it, not watching others play.

I didn't really think this was very entertaining. I mean, it's just a load of people sitting around talking. That stuff is funny between people you know but it loses its edge on a global scale.

See, you can look at work as something you "do for a living" or you can look at work as something you're doing right now. Anything you might be interested in doing: DO IT. Change it up every few years. Living with the thought "I wonder what it would have been like if i would have..." isn't fun because where there's a will there's a way. I guess what i'm saying is if you don't like what you're doing now, do something else. :) It doesn't seem easy, but It is. It's the whole power of positive thinking thing.

Well there is one thing i have always wanted to do. I have always wanted to write comic books. The only problem with that is while i consider myself a decent writer with good ideas i have no artistic skill what-so-ever. If i ever find anyone willing and able to do art for me i can get this dream off the ground, however until then i have to keep my ear to the ground and wait. Still, better to have something to aspire to then nothing at all i guess.

Well, this is completely off topic with the thread but I couldn't resist. I draw up my own little comics on my own free time. My problems is exactly opposite to your though. I consider myself a good doodler, it just takes me ages to come up with a good idea storywise. Oh and you know what? You may be in luck! I had a friend who got a comic book published! It was more of a Mad-esque kind of thing, but he'd write up sketches and hire artists to draw them for him. It was pretty awesome. You should look into that.

Oh and as for this "I hit it with my axe" series... I don't get it. It's like "haha, porns stars playing D&D" but, it feels too much like a boring reality show.

When I heard Sasha Grey was starring in a fantasy, this was not what i expected...

That is pretty fun to get out with friends and play games with mostly imagination, good times. I used to do that, we used to have a coffin that floted around behind us and you could get into it and it was an entirly new world, so we just put all are stuff in there but it was much harder taking it out again.

And one time we were stuck in a room with the only key to get out inside a locked chest in the room and so we put a enlarge spell on the chest and it grew so big we almost got crushed but I figured out we could crawl inside its key hole and then get the rooms key inside the chest too. that worked out pretty well, lol good times!

Awesome, that new girl looks like a famus actress, but I can't remember her name or what she is in, I just remember them looking a lot alike and kind of act the same too. Oh man this is killing me :)

edit - lol, how funny, right above my post someone figured it out, she looks just like Sasha Grey, cool, they both got some great eye brows :)

oh yeah now I remember I saw her on G4 tv she is a host for conventions.
