Once I was playing a match of TF2 as a Scout, soon as the match began I rushed the opposing team and killed every single member so fast that they were all simultaneously waiting for for a re-spawn. After that, not so much as a Spy escaped the supply room and all during the match I was showered with love from my team. I do my best under pressure. | |
So this afternoon, I was playing a match on Gold in ME3 and we had a player drop out around round four, we decided to stick it out and managed to get a full extraction with 3 people. Now, considering that I have been on MULTIPLE Bronze missions that have ending in failure with people who were FAR too high level to be failing at Bronze, I want to put this message out to the ME3 multiplayer community: You are on notice. Halo 3, Had to get a combined kill count of one hundred with four other people, I contributed 48 of those kills, nearly half, died once. I felt fucking bad-ass. Also in another match, I threw a sticky bomb an a dude before he killed me and ran back to his team behind a door waiting to ambush my team, they ALL died, felt like a boss. | |
In single player i`m always the greatest hero against all odds. I fight aliens, win wars and huge firefights, rescue princesses, avenge [insert person here]. Does that count? In mp i`m the one who is willing to give his life for reaching the goal or rescuing a teammate. I have many heroic deaths. | |
UMVC3, Phoenix Wright comebacks... Fuck yeah! Ace Attorney definitely takes it's place as best lvl 3 in the game. Full health Ryu? Throw out a "safe" Shinku on incoming? LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL And the one Skullgirls comeback was pretty epic, my Filia vs his Parasoul he throws the motorbike rush lvl 1 at me trying to chip me to death since I was on reallllly low health (if you don't know, chip damage is really tiny in Skullgirls) I panic airdash over it and somehow land the jumping MP into combo into Gregor Sampson into the upwards dive super to finish him... I can still never get the second super to come out except for that one and only time And I can't deal with the pressure of actually getting important kills in League of Legends. I still suck a bit too much for that... Hence I play Lulu and buff the shit out of everyone else instead XD I wish my UMVC3 disk wasn't annoyingly scratched to hell... How the shit did that happen anyway?! Doh well, back to Skullgirls... | |

Excuse me while I pick myself up and get back in my chair, that was pretty damn funny. :D What a way to finish with style: punched into the chopper by a tank. Why does nothing awesome like that happen when I play L4D2? (in b4 l4d2 haters)
OT: I had one in the ME3 demo (nothing of the sort in the full game though <_<). I had managed to unlock a Quarian Infiltrator and was doing Bronze Geth on Benning (for comparison, I find Silver hard and Gold fucking impossible). I can't remember which wave it was, though it was after the big guns start dropping on the field. Sometime near the beginning of the wave, both of my team mates went down (the other guy quit early) and I was left alone with just my sniper rifle and low-end powers to fend off some rather pissed off synthetics. Somehow, whether through tactics, cunning or just sheer dumb luck, I managed to get through the entire wave without having to use medi-gel or op packs, though I did have to loose off a rocket at one point. My team mates were somewhat surprised I think and we went on to win the level, which was nice.
Maybe not as awesome as some stories here, but made me feel like a boss.
