Dead by Daylight is no stranger to the beloved crossover event. Whether it is Resident Evil 3‘s Nemesis or Silent Hill 2‘s Pyramid Head, alongside those series’ heroes, the survival horror multiplayer game has had plenty of video game cameos. Now, even more Resident Evil characters are joining the title. Dead by Daylight – Resident Evil: Project W, a new expansion, has just been revealed by developer Behaviour Interactive, showcasing Albert Wesker as a new Killer.

Check out a spooky trailer.

Wesker is a bad dude. It’s nice to see his Resident Evil 5 variant at play. The Uroboros Virus is quite disgusting and icky to behold.

In addition to the blond baddy Wesker, new Survivors Ada Wong and Rebecca Chambers will make an appearance in Dead by Daylight – Resident Evil: Project W. Hopefully, Rebecca will use her healing skills in tandem with Ada’s genuine badassery to win the day and blow Wesker into another volcano.

Dead by Daylight – Resident Evil: Project W will launch later this year on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, PC, and Stadia. Gamers will be able to purchase the latest Survivors and Killer individually or all of the new characters along with Jill, Leon, and Nemesis in a larger Resident Evil franchise bundle.

In related news, Behaviour Interactive announced a new “building and raiding” FPS today, Meet Your Maker.
