Gacha games will run pre-registration events, even after the game has come out. Arknight: Endfield is no different, with its latest pre-registration event running from now until February 5. However, unlike most registration events, this has a gacha baked into it.
Part of the idea behind the Arknights: Endfield “Final Prep Orders” promotion is that they’re also giving away a PS5 to lucky players. The problem isn’t the prize draw, but that the event has its own gacha system with dailies that means players will have to go back more than once.
Amongst the event is an almost guaranteed five-star weapon, Sundering Steel. To get this, you can either acquire it in the gacha or draw ten times to be awarded it.
This is completely optional, but they’re dangling items that seem to give players who go through the effort an additional boost. Most of these can be acquired by waiting for the timers to tick down on the resources or “successfully invite” a friend to register for additional points.
I don’t have friends to share these with, so I guess that’s me not getting the points faster than I should. Then again, each go of the gacha costs so much that I only managed to get three items before running out of points.
However, you don’t actually have to share any of this on your social media, as it asks for several of the missions. Simply hit the button, let it load the new tab, and then head back to avoid advertising to the remaining friends and family who see your stuff on their algorithms.
Grandma doesn’t need to know you’re going to play another anime gacha game. Your cousin also doesn’t need to know, but for different reasons.
Arknights: Endfield launches January 22 for PS5, iOS, Android, and PC.
