These (bar the building) make me feel hollow and psychotic. Very powerful.
For some reason Loss of Childhood induces an image of Tom and Gerry in my mind- that's either highly coincidental or amazingly relevant.

I posted the first stage of it, now see wht an extra 7-8 hours of on and off touching up has done to this pieace I made of my Ex-Girlfriend...

Is it obvious how much I think of her?

Pretty much, although if she looks similar to that in real life I don't blame you :D (jk)

On topic, I've just added two more pieces done today to my DA page:

http://trivun.deviantart.com/

Not sure how to post images on here, which is why I've posted my DA link instead, however I suppose that means you guys can take a look at my other stuff as well, which would just take up too much room here.

She looks better in my opinion, I'd never be able to replicate it with a pencil.

How did you let her get away from you? Unlucky there, mate :s.

P.S. Update on my new DA stuff - I ended up deleting one of them by accident, had to do it all over again which took another hour or so of my time (digital rendering, not traditional stuff). I should probably make backup copies of my work... I'm actually going to make a point of doing more on the wax and hotplate stuff over the weekend, so that'll probably be up in the next few days if I can get a bit of practise in tomorrow with the methods for landscaping.

Tell me about it... I've been spending the last three months wracking my brains over that one...

Anwyay, uhm, seeing as people seem to be sharing their DA pages with the world, i'll shamelessly do the same..

*cough* http://Teh-G-man.deviantart.com *cough*

I was going through my files, came across this and decided to share it with you wonderful people. It's a creature of sorts from a world I made for D&D.

They usually don't come with vine decorations on the head, but I kind of like how it looks.

Right, here is my Labyrinth digital piece, from Deviant Art. Quite a coincidence really, I posted it to the site before realsing Labyrinth herself has an account on there, so this isn't related to our Labyrinth in any way. Still pretty weird though, the coincidence...

EDIT: OK, so something's up and we can't see the picture. However, you can find it here:

Oh, yeah. Believe it. :D

Great, now I feel bad. I don't dabble in much realism, but here's a share of my work, if anyone gives one:

And if you wanna see more, just maybe, you can see it all

Hey, I recently entered a SF design competition and the winners are based on votes.
I'd really appreciate if any of you interested in art could head over there and take a look at it, maybe vote for it while your at it :P

http://www.dontpaniconline.com/designbrief/entry/?id=5627
Click on it to enlarge, looks a lot better that way.

I believe you have to quickly sign up to vote, but it only requires your e-mail. The site is pretty awesome, it's definetly worth signing up.
So why not lend a fellow Escapist a hand?

Thanks

Escapees, I present to you...
The Croco-Cake!

Anyone who wants to follow my works in progress on tablet can do so here. I'm pretty much done on the Escapist (for reasons of productivity and real/virtual life more than anything) so you can check my stuff out there.

A sketch I done did.

Your lines and shadow work are beautiful. The drawing of your girlfriend is brilliant save a slightly elongated torso and a dodgy looking right cuff on the hoodie. Very expressive though, I like it.

Well, thank you, it's genuinely nice for people to take that much notice in what I do
(really, I mean that, it's deeply appreciated.) And I see what you mean abuot the sketch of my ex... Girlfriend (She's convinced herself she's in love with some other twat-face, but that's not for here.)

Anyway, thanks again!

Apologies for the double post, but it's unavoidable, because editing my last post doesn't move the topic to the front page.

Anyway, got a new one to share.
It's a variation of my latest Deviantart ID:

It's been a while since I've posted in this thread, so I'll show you guys a quick spot of selective coloring I did a while ago:

You do spraypaint work yourself or was it just the colouring you did? Either way, its awesome. I myself do my bit of graffiti. No tags, or letters or anything like that, its purely pictures of animals and plants.

Actually, I just took the picture and colored it. It was a bit of grafitti I found in Westport, Kansas City. If it gives you some perspective, this was the original pictures before I messed with it:

I've seen a few people put some comics up here and there and seenig as Comics is my main focus in the art I produce I thought I'd put up just some quick screw-about pages I make on the side about my pet Parrot who is a collossal douche in real life as well, but bless him as much as my family can't stand him, he's proven to be a good source for comedy.

Ahh the wonder of profanity. Makes me giggle.

How do you add pics to a reply?
Just want to know to add my own works

On second thought, I'll just put down my website's domain, it'll be easier than putting ever single one of them onto this site.

If you want just an image: [ img ]www.blahblah.com/jpg[/IMG ] (In the same case for both tags, sans spaces.)

If you want it in a spoiler (the little clicky box) put [spoiler=This Is My Fabulous Work] and [/Spoiler] on either side of the img tags, in the same case.

It loses it's punch slightly for people who have never seen or been around my pet Parrot... I swear if he could talk fluently, he'd be saying stuff like that.

Then again at times i consider him a diabloical genius, the kind you normally see in old silent films where the villain seems to have a fanscination with railroads and sweet damsels.
and his nefarious get-up and mustache are just halmarks to show how proud he is of his evil.

My English class this quarter has me writing some short work for assignments. They're general non-fiction, which is pretty much blogging in a narrative style. Since I lead such an interesting life, I figured I'd share it with you folks.

A Cover I did for my Cousin and Brother's mixtape

A few poems wrote not a long time ago

Midsummer Night
When the sun dies in scarlet fire
The humid air so stifling
A cooling breeze that shifts the willows
Comfort in a sea of warmth

Stars shift and shimmer through the haze
Crickets start up their nocturnal chirping
Frogs serenade the moonbeams
The moon it smiles its radiant face upon the world

Glowing, dancing, graceful moonlight dapples upon the grass
Cloying, tantalizing music of the night plays its melody around me
The warm air wraps me and caresses me
I revel in the gentle romance of the night

Storm clouds hiss and growl on the horizon
Their flickering lights playing games in the clouds
White scars burn intensely but never come closer than the horizon
Booms and whistles of distant thunder add percussion to the song of the night

At long last the Owls wake who there sleep
Calling "whooooo" into the deep dark
Silent wings swoop and prowl the night air
Searching for their succulent prey

As the dawn light burst and boils over the horizon
The orchestra of the night dies to a whisper
Then is heard no more
Until night falls once again
And the song starts anew

Orchestra of the Evening
Sun bursting red and gold
Sinking 'neath horizon line
Darkness falls in gossamer sheets
Lines the forest in its shadowy folds

Sighing, Whistling, Singing, Groaning
Tress talk to one another
Voices creaking across the night
Rustle in their sleepy boughs

Rising, Falling, Whipping, Lashing
Winds blow up and winds blow down
Shaking branches, make them shiver
Bring down enfolding warmth upon the trees

Silence pervades as the night stands breathless
Suddenly erupting into action
Bats and beats open their night eyes
To hunt and forage in the clinging black

Peepers singing lullabies
Crickets chirping little songs
Owls fly on silent wings
Scouring the night for prey to catch

Fireflies winking their little lights
Dancing through the moonbeams
Flickering ghost lights

As dawn's silver light creeps over the horizon
Mist of the evening vanishes in fright
Night beasts scatter
Trees stretch their arms wide
Embracing the new day
And bidding farewell to the Orchestra of the Night

Walking the Line
Step out your door, my friend
A darkness will hound you without end

It hunts you when you are abed
It's jaws they wait to sup upon your head

In rainy shadows it stalks your soul
To hollow you, to devour you whole

We all here walk the line
The borders of shadow and light will unwind

We will wander, my friend, in the gray
Until the beckoning of ash and dust they come to claim

Our hearts and souls they act as one
To crush the dark, and bring the sun

Hey!

I'm not sure if this is in the spirit of the thread but I have a request.

Can someone draw my Dungeons and Dragons character named Lydian Ols? He is a level 7 wizard who specs in Divination.

He is s 17 years old human and is tall and skinny. Black hair, brown eyes fair skin. He has a burn scar on his right forearm (because of a botched fireball). He wears robes and carries around a spell book and a diary.

I'm not fussed if no one does it so don't worry too much but having an awesome drawing would indeed make me the envy of the table. Thanks guys!

I tried drawing Lydian last night, and found I couldn't do it. I need more details. How long is his hair? Is it straight or curly or in between? What shape is his chin? His nose? What expression is he usually wearing?

I could just make all that up on the spot, but I don't think it would look anything like what you think he looks like.
