so it was on the computer . in the 90's. it was daemons i think underground and you gained guys.and tunneled around. had kinda a ages of empires type play to it. trying to find gold and other things. and you got invaded by other underground daemon colones . when your tunnels got too close . and the cool part is you could become witch ever of your little guys you want and control them in a first person view. thats all i remember. no one i know has any clue what im talking about . does anyone here?

Sounds like a Dungeon Keeper game - maybe the second one?

Bresoldat:
Okay. I can't remember much about this game. I played it in school in the early 2000's. It was an elementary PC game. I believe it was mostly about math, but I vaguely remember a metronome and a piano somewhere in there. I do remember it being sort of creepy, almost like a Halloween game. I remember clicking on a tower to go inside and there, you had to grow a certain amount of crops to make a potion or something. You had to figure out how many seeds to plant and how much water and sunlight to give to yield the correct number of fruit or whatever. And then I believe if you went through the woods, you found these three witches and you had to measure the correct ingredients for a potion... And there was a labyrinth, but I don't remember what was inside. And I know you had to beat a certain amount of the games to unlock the door to this house on a hill. Although, I don't remember what was inside. But every time to made it in, you ended up back outside and had to complete more games (they were the same games but harder than before) again. And I think as you completed the games, a jewel or something would light up on the door.. And it was always night time and it was pretty much storming the entire time.

And there was another pc game I played in school. It was a mansion, and the person who owned it was a cat. And every time you found all the clues, you would get a picture of that mansion in your hall.. I'm wanting to say it was "reading mansion" or something g like that.

Those were JumpStart Games!!! Well the first one is forsure. Jumpstart 4th grade. I loved that one and I think the second one might be jumpstart too? just another game? Idk but the first one I do remember! :)

And I have a game I am wanting to find. It was a dinosaur PC game. We played it in my elementary school. You played as the dinosaur (I believe some sort of raptor?) and collected eggs or something. It had decent graphics, kinda 3d not 2d. I know it may not be helpful but if I saw the pic of it I would recognize it off the bat! It wasn't super cartoony. And you roamed the landscape. It was late 90s early 00s when I played it. Since it was at school I assume some educational value but idk.

This has been bugging me for a while. I played an old RPG that had grid-based combat and featured two separated brothers as the main characters. They each built up their own separate parties throughout the game and ended up clashing towards the end.

One of the brothers was a sort of dragonkin that ended up having his wings ripped off towards the beginning of the game. Other than that I can't really remember much detail, but if I can figure it out I would love to play it again.

thanks Planeforger that is it . wow your good .appreciate it man!

I can't remember the name of a game where you played as a small man who had to move through small labyrinths, evading obstacles made of fire, ice, acid and water. And if I'm not mistaking you had to pick up some key on the way and the place where you entered the next level was a green plate.

Hey i've recently been looking for some NOSTALGIA PC games and there a 3 that i don't remember the name of

1st - Is a Space Invaders close with a flying dog with big ears, you shoot sea creatures in space, the background where photos of mountains ect. there was a end boss batlle which was another dog he had few phases he had eggs flying around him.

2nd - Is a mini-game where you would destroy walls on 5 floors (or maybe 4) the walls were in different colours and there was someone repairing them i think and there were some enemies, you had to destroy every wall, it was a very small game and I had it on disc from a magazine back in day which i don't have today

3rd - was a hunting game that was rather funny not realistic, all i remember is that you were dropped in forest and you had to go and hunt down a deer (i think it had a gun aswell)

remember that PS2 Game where you had different weird cars and arenas? Like you were in this arena where there where other weird cars, and the goal was destroying the other ones with your weapons.
I remember my favorite was this toy car, although they all looked like toys. Oh, and one arena was a kids room.
Please help, i really miss my childhood :)

Thanks man !! You are awesome :) yeah this game rocks.

Going to copy my post on XKCD if you don't mind :)

Background: Futuristic squad control strategy game.
System: PC
Year: Mid 90s
Perspective: Isometric
Art style: Looks a lot like "Crusader: No remorse"
Environment: Future. All levels are enemy bases + territory around that base.
Mood: Neutral.
Genre: It's either TBS or RTS. Can't remember exactly but leaning towards RTS.
Gameplay: You control the team of several (4 to 6) people, who look almost exactly as before mentioned protagonist from "Crusader" franchise. You clear an enemy base and then return to yours (very similar to X-com ground missions). The thing i remember for certain is your team members level up after each mission and change color. So after each upgrade in their rank - they become different color, red being the best as i remember (can be wrong). The gameplay feel very similar to Syndicate. The other thing i remember for sure is - you save by entering a room full of pods for storing your soldiers, which are located inside a wall like in a morgue.

So it's basically X-com/Syndicate hybrid with graphics from Crusader. Sorry for such a vague description :(

I had a game maybe 7-8 years ago for XBOX NOT Xbox 360 it was a magic game where you played as a kid and fought trolls and stuff. and (i know htis is obscure but it's something i remember) save points were rings of rocks and mushrooms.

Ok, I played this game online around '04-'06 time, it is a fantasy rpg game, slaying monsters, using magic drinking potions, and getting exp. to level up, it was a really simple game played with the mouse where all you did was click whether you wanted to attack or get into a dropdown menue to choose a spell or a potion. it was all text and pictures, and the background color was a sort of light brown or tan. can anybody help me out?

Maybe Jagged alliance? i haven't played it in a couple of years, and i don't remember clearly, but it kinda fits your description (as far as i remember)

Please help me !!! It was fantasy real-time strategy game i had the demo of that game and one guy (like hero in warcraft 3) if I remember with yellow hair and he says ''i will handle it'' ''give it to me'' and he has lightning attack lightning balls are spreading and blows monsters (like orcs etc.) up and games name like kingdom or something year is like 2002-2004 dont remember :/ anyone? but it was like warcraft help meee :(

I'm trying to remember a fighting game for the ps1 in a tekken kind of model. Had only a handful of characters, an anime kind of animation style, and one of the characters looked kind of like a biker with a glowing sword and I think his name began with Z. When defeated during the campaign the characters would actually die after a bit of plot related talking. I think it's really obscure so I don't expect anyone to know but any help would be appreciated, thank you

Im sorry i dont know where to make my own post but mayb someone can read this and help me out. Hi, I am trying to remember the title of a game I played a while ago on the PC.
It was a windows 98 game I believe,
It was a top down shooter,
The into began as you were created as a cyborg in an assembly line,
The main character was bald,
The demo ended with you, a cyborg type-robot lying on a chair on the beach, I only played the demo)
There were power ups you could get on the ground,
The action was fairly hectic and you were shooting, if I recall correctly, some kind of aliens.
Any help would be fantastic, as this is really been bugging me as of late!
Thanks.

I remember playing a PC hunting game of sorts where you moved up a food chain or something in the 90's, the screen had tiles on it with animals spread across a few of them, and it had Rondo Alla Turca by Mozart playing in the background of it, I think it was a puzzle game but I'm not entirely sure

please help! :(

SandwichProtector:
Hi all,I played a game when I was a child a horror game and I played it on PSX I think so if it's not on PS2.I think it was released between 1990 to 2002. You play with a woman i guess her daughter possessed or ghost I remember a seine that there was a hand on the table its cut but it moves and the Blood is green and looks like a vomit on it. also the piano is playing on it's self and You play in a house it surrounded by trees.(P.S I guess it was an Asian horror games more like Japanese horror games) . Anyone have any clue, thanks.

I think you're talking about Clock Tower for PS1.

There's this one game I played on my PC like ten years ago or something. It was a first person game (I think, but most likely) in medieval age. I had a sword and i remember walking through some castle, you know, just chillin', and I could talk to some people. If I attacked them, I'd end up in jail (this little basement that had an entrance from the outside of the castle, but inside the walls). I also remember going into some woods. First I had to cross a stream or a river to get in the woods. I could kill a boar in the woods, but I think it always killed me first, cause I sucked. OH YEAH, I could also end up (can't remember how) in some magical place. I remember I could climb some floating stairs to end up in wizards chambers (I think it was a female wizard whom I could talk to) and it looked a bit like some library and the background was all space-ish. That's all I can remember, please help me!

A PS1 game where you played as a little kid walking through nightmares with a candle in hand. I vaguely remember a pirate ship level.

I am looking for a game i used to play long time back. I don't remember the name of the game and its killing me. The game started with the player's nanny asks the player to feed the pigs. Then gives him some gold coins to explore the island. He goes and eats apricots from the apricot trees and gains energy then kills some insects by smashing them with his legs and collects gold coins. Can anyone help me find the game. I really want to play it once again. Thank you

Are you thinking of Dink Smallwood?

I have my own request:

  1. Late 1980s / mid 1990s fantasy maze and puzzle game I played as a kid
  2. The primary goal of the game is to navigate a large maze / labyrinth "dungeon" with various obstacles, gatherable objects, and puzzle elements
  3. You have a large 1st person "faux 3D" view and a small 2D top down map that's revealed as you explore
  4. You can pick up tokens in a variety of colors to unlock different areas, as well as other objects such as a rug to cross a dangerous pool of ooze, food to tame pesky animals, etc
  5. At the end of the labyrinth, all of the animals and obstacles in the labyrinth are having a party
  6. Its graphic design is comparable to Dungeon Master or even Legend of Grimrock but without combat elements
  7. It's a kid's game, so there's no explicit / violent material in it

My memory is faint, but I have strong feelings associating this labyrinth to a medieval castle game where you can explore a cut-away castle, see the different names of objects and rooms in the castle, and even joust (I believe there is also a room with a wizard / alchemist in it). However, I'm not sure if these games are one in the same. I may be confusing two games for one. There was a Yahoo Answers post detailing the labyrinth game exactly, but it was no help. I will look for the link. I hope this is sufficient (Driving me crazy). Thank you.

Have you looked at the early Elder Scrolls? arena, daggerfall, etc?

Hi guys.

I am trying to remember the name of a PC game:

You are stuck on a planet and you have to try to escape.
You have 4 zones on the planet which you can only get to by using tunnels. Some of the tunnels are blocked until you are able to get a better spaceship.

There are video sequences as you progress with the storyline, played by various actors and part of the storyline is the authorities seem to be turning people into food....

If you ever got damaged you could repair under lights, which also was a great place to attack others and get cash/parts.

At the end of the game there was a suggestion that there would be a sequel, although I rang the company and they did not have a clue what I was talking about :(

This was a great game, well beyond it's time and I would love to remember the name.

it not an only one like maybe 2008-12 i used to play it but now cant find it anymore :(
help appreciated :)

There's one I've been trying to remember. It's not really a game, but more an interactive experience made in flash. It invoked clicking objects in a photograph to make surreal things happen that eventually cause you to solve psuedopuzzles. I remember it being made by a Russian guy and the photos are in some abandoned industrial building.

I think I know this game. Lemme dig my archives...

Enemy Infestation or Incubation, one of those.

Over ten years ago there was this game on my T-83 graphing calculator that I remember being fun. You were some kind of criminal who would fight people and drink beer. I think there was a drug economy (unless I'm mixing up two games) where different cities had different prices and you could buy low and sell high to make more money.

You used money to buy better weapons and/maybe? armor to fight tougher opponents. There were like 5 or so cities that you "traveled" to via black and white pixalated menu screens.

The thing I will always remember is once I had a hundred dollars and decided to buy a hundred $1 beers and drink them. After I made that choice I received a screen that said something to the effect of "you have drank 100 beers, your BAC is now 100 percent. You are dead."

I'd love to get nostalgic and play it again years later, if anybody knows what I'm talking about.

Gypsybob:
A PS1 game where you played as a little kid walking through nightmares with a candle in hand. I vaguely remember a pirate ship level.

I think it's 40 Winks.

I used to play a PC game when I was a kid. It was a 2d platformer. You had to colect tiny round gold ingots nad sometimes there were diamonds. The player character was dressed in a white lab coat (I think!). The first level was at the surface, and very easy, but then you had to go down on a mine elevator to reach the second level. Then there were some enemies running back and forth, and chasing you, and you could run to the elevator cage and use it as a safe zone. If you touched the enemies you would die.
To go to the next level you had to collect gold or gems and reach the other elvator to go down.

I hope this is enough!

Thanks in advance!
