How to Get the Parental Lock System Code in Deltarune Chapter 3

Here's everything you need to know about the Parental Lock System Code in Deltarune Chapter 3.

Deltarune Chapter 3 has a lot of puzzles and secrets for you to uncover, and the Parental Lock System is one of them.

This episodic RPG is unique in the sense that it deviates from modern-day titles with its 2D graphics, while putting you in control of a team made of a human (Kris), a monster (Susie), and a prince of the Dark Realm (Ralsei). You’ll encounter many interesting puzzles, which might look easy on the surface but are bound to tickle your grey cells for quite some time.

What Are the Parental Lock System Codes in Deltarune Chapter 3?

When you finish a round in Tenna’s Game Show, you’ll reach the green room where you’ll find a guard standing in front of a door. After you convince him to leave, enter the hallway behind him to find a Parental Lock System blocking yet another door.

Technically, you’ll need two different codes, because there’s yet another door behind this one. These codes are hidden behind two distinct puzzles, which not only tell you the numbers that you need to input, but also the sequence in which you need to do so in Deltarune Chapter 3.

The two codes are:

  • First door: 213
  • Second door: 1225

If you don’t want to solve the puzzles, then the codes above should help you progress quickly. However, if you’re looking to enjoy Deltarune Chapter 3 to the fullest, here’s how you can solve all the puzzles to get the codes for yourself.

How to Get the Code For the First Door

If you’ve not solved any of the puzzles so far, you’ll probably be playing as Susie from this point forward. It’s not that difficult, but playing this section as Kris just makes things easier because he has a sword at his disposal. Close to the first door, you should see three monitors. When you step in front of them, one screen should be filled with weeds while the others have blue boxes.

First, make your way to the left monitor and pick up the blue block and toss it onto the third monitor. Here, you’ll find the first number, “1”. After that, have Susie pick up all the weeds on the second monitor and reveal the second number, “2”. Finally, for the third number, clear the rest of the blue boxes to reveal “3”. If you head to the door and input them in this sequence, it won’t open.

Look at the monitors closely, and you’ll see that each monitor shows a unique pathing. The one on your extreme left has two paths leading out of it, while the one in the centre has just one. The third one has one path out, too, but there’s a wall between the second and the third monitor. If you’re taking these paths into account, then the code stands as “213“. Hit the door with this Parental Lock System code in Deltarune Chapter 3, and the door should open.

If you’re playing as Kris, swiping your sword clears out all three monitors, and you’ll get the code almost instantly. It reduces the time taken to solve the puzzle, yes, but the final outcome remains the same.

How to Get the Code For the Second Door

Similar to the first code sequence, the second one is locked behind a puzzle, but it isn’t very complex. There are six screens in front of you, out of which one has a key while the other has a locked door. You’ll need to take this key and use it to open the door. However, this key is sentient and will run away if you don’t trap it.

One of the screens contains blue boxes that allow you to stop the key from running away. Once trapped, you can then pick it up and open the locked door, which will give you the second Parental Lock System code in Deltarune Chapter 3. Now, make your way to the door and hit “1225” to open it. Behind this door lies a room that is extremely cold, with a secret for your eyes only.
