Meanwhile, New World Interactive is working on the console launches of Insurgency: Sandstorm, scheduled for the first half of 2021, as well as a new IP.

The other studios to join Embracer are as follows:

  • Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars developer Palindrome Interactive

News of the acquisitions comes alongside Embracer’s latest fiscal earnings report, in which it reported its strongest quarter in the gaming sector to date. The publisher currently has 125 projects in the works, with 73 yet to be announced.

The company also outlined plans to continue its growth with co-founder and CEO Lars Wingefors saying the company is currently having “more discussions than ever with potential joiners, including a handful of sizable companies that could form new operative groups.”

The most recent game from the group is the Destroy All Humans! remake, while upcoming releases are Wasteland 3, Iron Harvest, Windbound, and Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning.
