The trouble with this sort of thing is that the headline pretty much says it all, and I’m left with space to fill and not much to work with. I was considering making a crack about the difference between playing guitar and playing Guitar Hero, but it felt cheap and opportunistic so I decided to pass. Instead, I will note that along with his mad guitar skillz, Holovaty is also a lead developer on the Django open source Web framework who, according to growabrain, was inspired to create this unplugged rendition of the Super Mario Bros. 2 level one theme by VGMix.com, a website dedicated to amateur arrangements and remixed of videogame music.
