Although you still don’t have any clue about what’s going on, gaining access to Mike’s Room is something that could tell you about the secrets that Castle Town holds. Just like the Parental Lock System from the previous chapter, you’ll need a special code to unlock the door. It’s believed that this room is related to the secret boss fight in Deltarune Chapter four.
What is the Code to Mike’s Room in Deltarune?
The code to Mike’s Room is “6453“. While the code itself is accurate, there is a lot of mystery surrounding how to obtain this code. To find Mike’s Room, head inside the TV tower at Castle Town. Here, you should find a door called “Mike’s Door.” If you’re wondering who Mike is, then he’s the character that Mr. Tenna keeps referencing during his game show, indicating that he’s also involved in a certain capacity.
How to Get Mike’s Room code in Deltarune
To get this code, you need to finish Deltarune Chapter four and then save your game. Load up this very save, and you’ll spawn in the Dark World once again. Follow the path until you come to a spotlight. When you interact with it, it’ll ask you if you want to return to Castle Town or not. If you choose to return, you’ll teleport to an extra-funky version of the area, and the only place you can access is the TV Tower. Enter the tower
If you carefully look at the code, then you’ll notice that it spells out MIKE (6-M, 4-I, 5-K, E-3) if you’re using an older block keypad. Yes, you need to press certain keys multiple times to get the letters in the name, but it’s just those numbers in general.
What is Inside Mike’s Room?
As speculated earlier, Mike’s Room contains a secret boss fight that you’ll need to participate in. We won’t tell you what that fight is, but there’s a small puzzle that you need to solve to get to the fight in the first place.
Inside the room, you’ll find multiple Cat Statues. All you need to do is walk up to them and pet them, and they’ll disappear. However, there are a few statues that you won’t be able to reach at the beginning. Head to the end of the corridor and rescue the maus. When you do so, it’ll turn into a hand sign which you can use to reach higher places.
This room has a lot of hats too, so you can use this hand to collect those hats as you go about your way. In this room, you should see a huge cabinet with a drawer right at the top. If you open this, there should be a hat inside. When you pet the cat statue beside this one, you’ll get a red treasure chest with the TVDinner inside it. After you’ve pet all the statues, you’ll finally come to a giant microphone.
Adjust the volume here, but ensure it remains in green. Save your game here, and then just interact with the door to head on inside. The volume gimmick is the main fight mechanic, so no matter what you do, keep the levels in the green even during the secret boss fight in Deltarune.
