Developed by Farlight and Lilith Games, AFK Journey is a team-building gacha RPG with rotating banners and new characters entering the roster each month. If you’re wondering when the next AFK Journey banner is due, here’s everything you need to know.
Next AFK Journey Banner Start Date
There’s no confirmation on when we’ll get the next rate-up banner in AFK Journey just yet, but based on the game’s rotation schedule so far, we can speculate. It’s very likely that we’ll get the next AFK Journey banner on either May 31 or June 1.
When the game first released on March 27, we got Vala on the featured rate-up banner. This lasted for about three weeks, until Florabelle replaced her as the new rate-up character on April 15. After that, we got Alsa, whose banner will only last for around 20 days. Once her banner ends, we should get the next rate-up character either immediately after, or one day after.
Who Is the Next Rate-Up Character?
At the time of writing, it looks like once Alsa’s banner is over, Soren will replace her as the next rate-up character during the Song of Strife season. Soren is also part of the Mauler’s faction, and it remains to be seen just how long his banner will last.
Current AFK Journey Banner
Right now, players can spend their Diamonds pulling for Alsa. She’s a Mage DPS character who will work very well in the current PvP meta composition, but only if you’ve already got Eironn at Mythic+. She’s pretty much perfect for players who have a Mythic+ Eironn but don’t have Carolina just yet. The great thing about Alsa is that she requires much less investment to be viable in PvP, and I’d recommend getting her to Legendary+ before slotting her in.
