One Piece
One Piece is the biggest anime/manga franchise of all time. It follows Monkey D. Luffy, a young man who wants to become the King of the Pirates. After eating a mystical Devil Fruit, Luffy’s body gains the properties of rubber, but loses the ability to swim in the process. Starting on a homemade raft, Luffy begins a grand adventure across the seas, gathering a crew and seeking out a ship, as they search for the treasure known as One Piece. It’s said that whoever finds it will become the next King of the Pirates, with crews from all over the world seeking it out, all while the World Government and Marines try to stop them.
