Time for a third trip to Outlast 2’s creepy dream school. The catholic academy gets spookier with each revisit, and here we’ll finally get a glimpse at the creatures that haunt the hallucination.

The dream world seems entirely disconnected to the horrific events in the “real” world of Temple Gate. The cult compound feels so far away while Blake explores the (mostly) pristine hallways of the snowy school.

Genesis Pt. 8: Jessica’s Death

Crawl through the ducts until they literally fall out from under you. The room is well lit, at least? But it’s time to find a way out. Go through the open classroom door and move left down the dark hallway. Along the way, a locker will swing open – grab the music box and listen to it.

Hold down interact to continue spinning that music box. Listen in the locker, and eventually Blake will return the contraption.

Keep trying doors until you see Jessica sprint through a classroom door. Follow her into the opposite hallway to find her hanging corpse! It looks like she really did go through with it.

Go through the door to the left after her body is pulled up into the ceiling tiles by spectral hands, and you’ll exit the dream. Whatever those demonic hands are, you’ll be seeing them again in the future.
