The heretics aren’t about to give up, and neither should you as we continue our look into Chapter 4 of Outlast 2. The chase won’t let up, and navigation gets tricky fast.
Chapter 4 is one big, long chase. This is the middle portion — not quite the beginning, and definitely not the end. You’ll have to move carts, climb stairs, crawl through gaps and push shelves to escape the seemingly endless onslaught of naked creatures.
There is light at the end of this tunnel. One more dream sequence, and one more chase to reach the much-discussed underground mines.

Back in the mines, push the wheeled cart to the locked door and hop over the wall. Enter the room, and go down the stairs on the right. Creatures are swarming the area. Go down and squeeze through the shelves, then crawl through to an area with more lights. Pull open the gate, and slip inside – the creatures will appear soon.
Quickly grab the wheeled cart and roll it toward the door. Hop ontop and through the hole above the door to escape the incoming creatures, then immediately run left. Drop down onto the grating at the top of the steps, then crawl through the wooden structure to reach the steps ahead.
Rush up the stairs to avoid the incoming monsters. They’ll catch you if you stop sprinting. At the top, walk across the narrow planks – both of them. If you slow down, again, these naked creeps will catch you. Continue to sprint as you cross, then enter the doorway on the left, up the stairs, and through the door on the right.
You’ll slip and fall right into Jess, beginning another visit to the dream school.
