The nightmare continues in Outlast 2 as we continue our trek through the early sequences of Chapter 4. The eponymous Computer Lab is the subject for this walkthrough.

The dangers haven’t truly shown themselves yet. The creepy school doesn’t get any less creepy — here, you’ll get to explore the library and the computer lab. You’ll learn a little bit more about your relationship to Lynn and Jess. There are also jump-scares. So, so many jump-scares.

Judges Pt. 2: Computer Lab

Welcome back to Nightmare School. Exit the library, and enter the the lobby through the crack in the door. You’ll find an extra bandage behind the lobby desk, and there’s a battery in the Computer Lab meeting room.

Speaking of, enter the Computer Lab and look down one of the rows for an active computer terminal. Use it, and you’ll talk to Jess. She’ll suggest that you turn around. Hilariously, you don’t even have to turn around – just walk away and run back to the lobby. If you turn around, the scare chord will play, but you’ll save yourself from a silly jump-scare.

Next up, use the active computer at the back row. You’ll continue your IM conversation with Jess. They even mention Lynn! Exiting this time, the entire lab begins to flash, all the computers going haywire. The doors out of the Computer Lab are now open.

Leave and return to the hallway with the bloody sprinklers from your last visit to the school. That’s down the hall overlooking the swimming pool. Enter the open door on the left to find the bleachers – Jess is waiting. Approach her, follow her down the stairs and into the hallway behind the locker rooms. Move toward the red “EXIT” sign, and the demon will reappear.

Run! Turn around and go back up the stairs and exit to the hallway through the unlocked door on the right. Follow the windowed hallway until a tongue snatches Blake up, pulling him back under the water.
